When was Naruto Created?
In 1997, the Japanese manga series Naruto was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, who was an art school student at the time. After winning a contest for aspiring manga artists with his story Karakuri, Masashi quickly followed his victory with a short story titled “Naruto’ which was published in Akamaru Jump.
